Here’s When Canadians Can Stop Wearing Masks

Almost everybody is sick of having to remember to bring a mask whenever they step outside. Well, it looks like we might not have to for much longer as the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) has finally released a timeline with requirements to lift restrictions.

This timeline shows the rate of vaccination needed in order to safely ease more restrictive measures. At least 75% of Canadians over 12 would require one dose and 20% with both,

Although this will allow for more restrictions to be lifted, mask-wearing and social distancing measures will still remain in place.

To fully remove those restrictions, 75% of all Canadians 12 and over will need to be fully vaccinated. This is when life will return to pre-pandemic normalcy.
